Whether you’re looking for classic fruits like apples, strawberries, and raspberries or want to try something unique, Township Road Farm has something you’ll love, grown right here on our farm in Worden, Montana.
We’re excited to share those classics and our specialty crops like gooseberries, aronia berries, haskap, buffalo berries, currants, and so much more with our community. In addition to all this fruit, we also grow rhubarb and asparagus which help us welcome the summer each year.
About the Owners
We, Christie and Larry Walsh, started Township Road Farm because we were interested in growing fruit for ourselves. A few berry plants and some grapes quickly turned into five acres of diverse fruit production.
Now, we’re excited to share the harvest with the Yellowstone Valley community, which we’ve been an active part of since 2002.
It can be a significant challenge to produce certified organic fruit, so we are not a certified farm, but we work hard to use clean practices as much as possible while still maintaining healthy plants and fruit production.
More than anything else, we are working to find and celebrate the things that grow best on our land. These optimal plants will be best able to thrive without too many inputs.
